My government says a blackout is coming. That is what I have this radio for. This radio feels valuable and sturdy like it is made of high-quality materials/components. It is built with IPX3 grade splash protection Everything 100 percent works as described and it can do many things: radio, flashlight, reading light, power bank, etc. The motion detector is a nice added feature. I believe the crank could even be used in an emergency to charge my 18650 batteries and use it in other devices that take those batteries. It can charge my phone via USB. The weather broadcast radio does not receive a signal in my region. I guess this feature is USA only, but the radio works fine on the regular FM/AM frequencies. The 18650 batteries can be easily replaced, which expands the radio s life span beyond the lifespan of the rechargeable batteries it ships with. It is an absolutely amazing product.
